This wasn’t my first time, and it certainly wasn’t going to be my last!

People think that chopping off the body parts into small pieces is an easy task. It isn’t!

First of all, you need to peel off the outer skin, bit by bit. And for that, you need a big, sharp knife. Not just any knife will do. No, sir/madame! To peel off the shiny, brownish outer skin conveniently is the toughest part of this ordeal.

You need to browse the internet for THE perfect knife to carry out your dirty deeds. The sharper the better. The one that could get the job done in one stroke. Like running through a brick of butter!

The Things To Keep In Mind

Now, when peeling off the outer skin with the knife, you’ve got to make sure that you don’t cut through the body part. That will just result in a mess. And we don’t want that, do we? We are already in a colossal mess if we are being forced to do this!

So, keep in mind, you have to relax. Just breathe in breathe out, naturally, organically. Don’t stress yourself out. You can do this. You have the tools. The intentions. This guide. You will do this!

Chopping Off The Parts

Yeah, this one is a toughy, isn’t it? So, you have peeled off the skin, cleanly, pristinely. And what you’ve got in front of you now is the naked body. Almost white and pure.

Now, I’ll be honest with you at this point. I hate doing this. I gain no particular joy in chopping off the parts into a million small pieces. But, what has to be done, has to be done, right? So, suck it up, you cowards!

I admit, there are different ways to chop off the parts into the wee pieces, all of them equally efficient and well structured. At the end of the day, whatever works for you. Just follow your heart and instinct. It will come with practice.

Taking Emotions Out Of The Way

Again, I’ll be honest with you. As I said above, it isn’t something that I enjoy doing per se. I’m not a psycho. I’m not a super stoic.

In fact, I am known to cry heavily whilst dicing the body parts into small pieces, all gathered into this one special place for the final step.

Even if I don’t want to, the emotions take over, the tears do run down from my eyes, towards my cheeks, until they get lost into the uneven terrains of my patchy beard.

Yes, it’s tough! No one wants to do it. And certainly, no one enjoys it. But, the situation dictates the outcome!

The Final Step

  • The peeling off the skin required precision and skill.
  • The chopping off the body parts into small pieces required courage and will.
  • Now, the final step is the simplest one yet, to complete this drill.

You have just got to put these Onions, that you worked so hard to chop off into the small pieces, into the pan and cook them in the oil (Olive, Mustard, Coconut, whatever tickles your fancy) until they turn golden!

I know the journey to reach this point wasn’t a particularly enjoyable one. Yes, you had to mercilessly murder an onion along the way. Yes, you cried vehemently whilst doing so. But, the outcome?

Oh, the outcome could potentially be a tasty one. But, only if you know how to cook a delicious meal!

P.S. Don’t forget to throw away the skin that you peeled off of the Onion, into the bin. That should save you from an invariable yelling. Trust me.
